With the successful luring of a Barred Owl couple to set up house-keeping in my camera-equipped backyard box, an 11 year project, I finally decided it was time to start my own blog. I’ll start blogging about this barred owl family, but won’t stop here. I’ll share with you my personal experiences with birds and nature around my own house in Indiana as well as on other journeys I may make.
I just might talk a bit about some of our new innovative products at Wild Birds Unlimited, and if my arm is twisted real hard I might also muse a bit about my namesake product, Jim’s Birdacious Bark Butter, and a few new items that are soon to be introduced in this line.

Thanks so much for the owl experience. We enjoyed it so much! We have a couple different kind of owls on our property but never see them- only hear them. It is always fun to see new and unusual things like the babies. We live in the Galena Territory in Illinois.
